Dr. Lipschitz is a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Gastroenterologist. He provides consultation services in the assessment, diagnosis and management of paediatric patients which include infants, children and adolescents with gastrointestinal issues.
Assessments may require investigation such as endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and PillCam video endoscopy.
Dr Lipschitz is fully accredited to perform procedures at Cabrini Private Hospital, Malvern.
The practice in Melbourne was established in 1998. The main rooms are at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern, also consulting at Frankston Private Hospital and Cabrini Specialist Centre Hawthorn East.
Dr Lipschitz has been working in the sub-speciality of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition for the past 21 years. He also has a public appointment at Monash University and teaches Monash University medical students.
Dr Lipschitz completed his undergraduate training at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He specialised in Paediatrics at Beth Israel Hospital, New York City and completed his fellowship training in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Columbia University and Presbyterian/Babies Hospital, New York City.
